New Delhi [India], Aug, 31 : Shehenshah of Bollywood Amitabh Bachchan recently paid a visit to the celebrity dance reality show 'Jhalak Dikhlaa Jaa' and along with promoting his upcoming flick 'PINK,' he proved to have to best pout in the tinsel town.
Speaking about the movie's promotion on the show, he tweeted, "In illustrious company for 'jhalak' .. a recitation that shall culminate the product ..teaser na?" Illustrating his thoughts in the Blog, the 73-year-old actor posted, "Promotions for the film start in real earnest .about time too .. but . there is not much that can be said in a film of this nature without revealing the story .. and that is a block at the moment .. so .. we appear in popular Tv events .. 'jhalak dikhla ja' and get amazed by the immense talent among the young and those that present themselves in a vocation from one that is the vocation of their choice .." "Poetry has the ability to put across that which meters life and its events, moral standings, philosophical truth and at times the sheer rhythm of the subject title.I am in recitation here .and that which shall be broadcast a day after the 16th of September, which as we all now know is the release of PINK ..," he added.
While speaking about promoting a film, Big-B went down his memory lane and compared the movies and their making then and now.
"Promotions for films take a prime input in the making these days .. in my days we never heard of anything near this even .. but then in my years films ran for 25, 50, 75 weeks .. now they do that in hours .. similar results, but distanced in time .. to achieve that result the need to do what we do becomes mandatory .." he said. Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury directed 'PINK,' also stars Taapsee Pannu, Kirti Kulhari, Andrea Tariang and Angad Bedi.
