Mumbai [India], Sept. 1 : When we talk about comeback, Sonali Bendre feels the definition differs from one person to another and nothing has yet tempted her to return or make a "come back" to Bollywood.
"Nothing has tempted me yet to come back to Bollywood, in 'come back' sense. I don't know, everybody has a different definition of 'comeback.' I don't think I went anywhere. I am very much in public eye in every the phases I have been," she said at an event yesterday. Though the 41-year-old actress has been missing from the big screen post 'Kal Ho Naa Ho' in 2003, she is very much active in the Telly ville, the latest one to be her 2014-15 soap 'Ajeeb Daastaan Hai Ye.' Speaking about her TV outings, Sonali said, "Whenever we talk about television, I did it just after 'Sarfarosh' and 'Hum Saath Saath Hain' when nobody did television.
It was show for Star Plus called 'Kya Masti Kya Dhoom.' So for me, it is never about who does what or if somebody else is doing it or not.
I have always done what I felt like doing." "I come from a very middle class Maharashtrian background with nobody in films.
So, it was a shocking place for me to be in where my family was concerned, but here I am and I am glad that I came in here.
I've never been the follower. When I feel like it, I will be there. If I like the script, if it makes me feel like getting out of my comfort zone and go out there and do it, I will do it," she added.
Recently, rumours were doing the rounds about the actress' comeback with Star Plus' daily soap 'Jaana Na Dil Se Door.' However, refuting the reports, Sonali later set her record straight through a tweet, "Not true..Must be a good show but hv not heard of it or from its team...".
