New Delhi [India], Sept. 7 : The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Wednesday condemned Pakistan Army Chief General Raheel Sharif's assertion that Islamabad would continue to support the people of the valley on the "diplomatic and ethical" fronts, saying the Asian neighbour which now stands exposed seems to have forgotten the fact that they have already lost three wars on Kashmir.
BJP national secretary Shrikant Sharma compared the Pakistan Army to terrorists and mentioned that there was no difference between the comments made by Hafiz Saeed, Azhar Masood and them.
"They want to spread violence in Kashmir but their tactics failed earlier and will fail again. Instead of paying attention to Kashmir, they should concentrate on Balochistan and Gilgit. The army and the government are both torturing people and crime is increasing at an alarming rate. Human rights violations are also coming in the limelight," Sharma told ANI. Describing Kashmir as Pakistan's "jugular vein", General Sharif yesterday said Pakistan will continue to support Kashmir on the diplomatic and ethical fronts.
He reiterated that Islamabad knows the military or diplomatic challenges it has on the borders or within the cities.
