Darjeeling, (West Bengal), [India], Sept 28 : Gorkha Janmukti Morcha (GJM) on Wednesday staged protest and called for a 12-hour shut down in the Gorkhaland Territorial Administration (GTA) area against West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee's claim that Rs.
4,000 crore had been allocated to the Gorkhaland Territorial Administration. More than 250 people, who were trying to forcefully enforce a shutdown, have been detained in three subdivisions, informed Darjeeling District Magistrate.
