Chandigarh, April 30 : This baton wielding constable of Haryana Police is also stitching masks for her colleagues and slum-dwellers in her off-duty to prevent them from the invisible enemy -- the coronavirus.
She's constable Krishna, a COVID-19 warrior, who is posted in Haryana's Fatehabad town to implement the lockdown.
After doing her duty, she along with her husband stitches masks for the frontline staff.
Till date she has stitched over 2,000 masks and distributed them among her colleagues and those who can't buy them -- the slum-dwellers.
Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar shared her feat on Twitter by using hashtag #IndiaFightsCorona.
On her aim to distribute masks, the constable said she can't stop her fight against the virus.
She believes public service is also an important constituent of her duty along with ensuring the public safety.
