Delegation from Indian State of Gujarat to meet leading companies, senior government officials in Japan, South Korea

New Delhi [India], Oct 14 (ANI-BusinessWireIndia): The Embassy of India, Tokyo; The Consulate General of India, Osaka-Kobe in association with Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO), The Osaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) and The Embassy of India, Seoul in association with Indian Chamber of Commerce in Korea (ICCK) are organizing road-shows and arranging Business-to-Business (B2B) Meetings, hosting a high-level Vibrant Gujarat Delegation in Japan and South Korea respectively.

The delegation is visiting Japan (and) South Korea under the auspices of the Government of Gujarat from 17th to 21st October 2016.

The Vibrant Gujarat Delegation will comprise representatives from various reputed Indian organizations from various sectors (including Mining and Energy, Chemicals, Education, Tourism, Banking and Financial Services, etc.) in addition to representatives of the Government of Gujarat and Indian Chambers.

The Vibrant Gujarat road-show is aimed to strengthen the economic and social ties between the countries and to promote Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit 2017.

With the theme of "Gujarat - Connecting India to World", the road-show will feature various activities involving leading Japanese and South Korean companies, industry associations and government officials, strengthening the cause of development and promote cooperation between Japan, South Korea and the State of Gujarat.

The delegates will apprise about some of the investor-friendly policies, the robust industrial ecosystem and single window clearance procedures that Gujarat offers, making it one of the most sought after investment destinations globally.

Gujarat was ranked number 1 in "Ease of Doing Business" in 2015 among all states of India in a joint study by the Government of India and World Bank.
