London [UK], Oct. 31 : Acting legend Michael Douglas claims that his friend Val Kilmer is battling cancer despite the star's previous denials.
Michael, who himself defeated stage four tongue cancer in 2013, also went on to say that things "don't look too good" for the 'Batman' star.
The 72-year old star was having a Q (and) A with Jonnathan Ross when he shared the news. He was asked about the time he spent with Val while starring in the 1996 film 'The Ghost And The Darkness', to which the actor replied that he had a wonderful time with Kilmer.
"Val was a wonderful guy who is dealing with exactly what I had, and things don't look too good for him.
My prayers are with him. That's why you haven't heard too much from Val lately", he was quoted as saying by Daily Star. The Hollywood legend sparked health fears last year when he was pictured wearing what appeared to be a tracheotomy tube around his neck.
The 56-year-old then denied having throat cancer, saying he had undergone an undisclosed procedure which left 'swelling'.
