London [UK], Nov. 10 : Eddie Redmayne, who plays magizoologist Newt Scamander in the upcoming J.K. Rowling's series 'Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them,' is busy on the promotional tour for the highly-anticipated new film.
The 34-year-old actor recently admitted on 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show' that the announcement that there will be five more films in the series came as 'news' to the cast, reports the Daily Mail.
Explaining the news that the planned trilogy is being extended by an additional two films came as a shock to the cast, Redmayne told the host, "We were at a fan event for Fantastic Beasts and then at the end J.K.
Rowling arrived, which was a shock for us and whenever she comes we turn into excitable children." "She always had a specific story she wanted to tell, which goes much further beyond just Newt and his case.
But we didn't realise it was going to be five films," he revealed. "So there was a very shocked moment when all of the cast, the four of us, gasped but are so excited," he added.
The Oscar winning actor was also spotted jetting into JFK airport in New York after a trip to Los Angeles.
The 'The Danish Girl' star was casually clad, donning a pair of bootcut dark denims teamed with a blue tee, a cosy looking navy knit cardigan and a herringbone coat that fell to his knees.
Going clean shaven for his journey, he strutted in a pair of navy trainers carrying a distressed suitcase.
The 'The Theory of Everything' actor stars alongside Colin Farrell, Ezra Miller, Jon Voight and Samantha Morton in the David Yates directed flick which releases in India on November 18.
