Wellington [New Zealand], Nov. 30 : New Zealand head coach Mike Hesson has confirmed that left-arm pacer Trent Boult has been tracking "very well" for Sunday's game against Australia in Sydney.
Boult had to miss the Hamilton Test against Pakistan due to a knee-niggle which flared up, but then got through a full fitness test on Tuesday.
"So he's recovered. I think when you know you've only got to bowl 10 overs, it's a lot easier than obviously the demands of the test match," Hesson was quoted as saying by stuff.co.nz.
Boult sustained a knee injury on New Zealand's tour of India which they went on lose 0-3 and he felt some discomfort when he slipped during the first Test against Pakistan in Christchurch.
The three ODIs will be played in Sydney, Canberra and Melbourne on December 4, 6 and 9. The New Zealand ODI squad is as follows: Kane Williamson (captain), Todd Astle, Trent Boult, Lockie Ferguson, Martin Guptill, Colin de Grandhomme, Matt Henry, Tom Latham, Colin Munro, Jimmy Neesham, Henry Nicholls, Mitchell Santner, Tim Southee, BJ Watling.
