Protesters to rally as Trump wishes America ‘Happy Presidents Day’

New Delhi [India], Feb. 21 : As the U.S. President Donald Trump, on Monday, wished America a 'Happy Presidents Day,' thousands of protesters are gearing up for demonstration against him on his special day.

"HAPPY PRESIDENTS DAY - MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!," he tweeted. Meanwhile, according to a report by USA Today, the protesters have used the federal holiday to organize "Not my Presidents Day" rallies in major cities.

With most government workers, school employees and students enjoying a day off due to the federal holiday, protest marches are underway in New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, and as many as two dozen other communities.

The report further says that in Atlanta, more than 600 protesters are expected at an "ImPEACH Now" march.

The group's Facebook page, which features an image of a cut peach with Trump's face in place of the pit, informs that in Los Angeles, about 4,300 people are expected to rally in the noon at City Hall.

The page further says that in Philadelphia, protesters were marching in a "Counter the Executive Orders" rally.
