Islamabad, Aug 6 : Sartaj Aziz, Adviser to Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Foreign Affairs has requested Medecins Sans Frontieres (MSF) commonly known as "Doctors Without Borders" to immediately provide medical assistance to thousands of people allegedly injured in Kashmir.
The Foreign Ministry in a statement said that Aziz made the formal request by writing a letter to the international president of MSF, reports the Dawn.
Meanwhile, curfew continues on the Indian side of Kashmir. Restrictions have been placed in Kupwara, Anantnag, Baramulla, Ganderbal and other district of valley where night clashes and protests had earlier been reported.
