Kabul, Aug. 20 : At least one person was killed and few others were injured after a Improvised Explosive Device (IED) was detonated targeting an Afghan Army vehicle in Kabul on Saturday.
The incident took place in Qala-e-Zaman Khan area after a vehicle of the Afghan National Army struck the IED, reports the Khaama Press.
Reports suggest that the incident took place due to a magnetic bomb planted in the army vehicle. The victims of the incident are also said to be the members of the Afghan army. So far, the Taliban militants have claimed responsibility behind the incident with the group's spokesman saying the army vehicle was hit by a roadside bomb.
