Washington D.C. [USA], Dec. 17 : ABC has given a straight-to-series order to murder mystery drama 'Somewhere Between' which is based on a Korean format.
According to Variety, the network has ordered 10-episodes of the series, which is slated to debut in summer 2017.
'Brothers (and) Sisters' alum Stephen Tolkin, who will pen the script, will also serve as executive producer along with Ivan Fecan and Joseph Broido.
The murder drama follows Laura Price, who is not crazy, but knows exactly when, where and how her daughter Serena is going to be murdered.
Despite this, all of her attempts to keep her daughter safe fail as the unmovable, terrifying fate keeps the daughter directly in the path of her killer.
'Somewhere Between' is the second new 10-episode series for ABC, toplined by a central female character, following Kyra Sedgwick's '10 Days in the Valley' which heads into production in 2017.
The project, however, has not been cast yet but reportedly, 'Somewhere Between' will shoot in Vancouver, Canada.
