London (UK), Feb. 24 : Beyhives! There is some bad news for you. Beyonce who was all set to headline this year's Coachella music festival in April, has pulled out of the gig, following the advice of her medical team, reports The Guardian.

The 35 year-old, has been advised by the doctors to keep a less rigorous schedule, according to a joint statement released by the singer's management team and Goldenvoice and Parkwood, the festival's promotion team.

"Following the advice of her doctors to keep a less rigorous schedule in the coming months, Beyonce has made the decision to forgo performing at the 2017 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival," the statement read.

But, Parkwood and Goldenvoice did not disappoint Bey's fans, as they confirmed that the 'Formation' singer will be back in 2018.

"However, Goldenvoice and Parkwood are pleased to confirm that she will be a headliner at the 2018 festival.

Thank you for your understanding," they added. The former 'Destiny's Child' star was unveiled as a headliner in January and then announced she was pregnant with twins via an Instagram post.

Beyonce would have become only the second female headliner at the festival, following Bjork, who headlined twice - first in 2002 alongside Oasis, and then again in 2007.

Other artists confirmed for the 2017 Coachella festival include Lorde, Bon Iver, Father John Misty, Justice and New Order.
