‘Catching Feelings’ to make world debut at LA Film Festival

Johannesburg [South Africa], May 12 : It's a big news for South African stand-up comedian Kagiso Lediga as his directorial debut film 'Catching Feelings' will be premiered at the 23rd LA Film festival in June.

The movie is a dark romantic comedy that revolves around a tale of how life, love and art intersect in uncontrollable ways, reports Channel24.

Excited Kagiso took to his Twitter handle to share the news, captioning, "Our film is going to L.A. @Motheomodaguru @PearlThusi @PunchNCream @undomestikated @loyisogola @ZandiTee THANK U!" The film follows a jaded academic (Lediga) and his journalist wife (Thusi), who have their lives turned upside down when a celebrated and hedonistic older writer unexpectedly moves into their urban Johannesburg home with them.

The movie will screen in competition in the World Fiction category. The movie, 'Catching Feelings' also stars Akin Omotoso and Andrew Buckland. The LA Film Festival would take place from June 14-22 and the movie is all set to hit the theaters of South Africa later this year.
