Johannesburg, Aug.6 : Leicester City manager Claudio Ranieri has said that his side's upcoming Community Shield clash against Manchester United is not a friendly one, while vowing the last seasons' Premier League champions would give their maximum in order to seal victory.
The clash between Leicester City and Jose Mourinho-led United marks the traditional start of the England's domestic season on Sunday at Wembley.
Ranieri, who led Leicester to maiden Premier League glory in the club's 132- year history, admitted he was extremely excited about the upcoming match, Sport24 reported.
The 5000-1 title-winning side will be without French midfielder N'Golo Kante, who left Leicester for Chelsea in a 30 million pounds move.
Having never managed to claim win at Wembley, Ranieri, however, is determined to emerge victorious. Meanwhile, United have not won the silverware since former manager Sir Alex Ferguson secured the Premier League title in his final season in charge in 2012-13.
They last won the Community Shield title three years ago..
