New Delhi [India], October 1 : A day after his co-star, Sarah Jessica Parker, squashed the reports that said a third movie of the franchise was in the process of making, saying, "It's over.
We're not doing it!" Kristin Davis feels 'deeply' frustrated. Davis took to Instagram on Saturday and penned a lengthy heartfelt message, along with a snapshot from her early days as the character of the film.
"I love to look back at the pics from our LONG history of Sex and the City," she wrote. The 52-year-old continued, "I am incredibly lucky to have gotten to play Charlotte through all of her ups and downs (epitomised in one of my favourite episodes here).
It is true that we are not going to be able to make a 3rd film. I wish that we could have made the final chapter, on our own terms, to complete the stories of our characters." "It is deeply frustrating not to able to share that chapter (beautifully written by MPK) with all of you.
So we will just have our memories, but please know that all of the love and support for us through the years is felt by us and we are so grateful for all of you!SATC forever in our hearts," the actress concluded her post.
Davis played Charlotte York Goldenblatt in the HBO hit series, which went off air in 2004. It also later spawned onto two feature films, Sex and the City (2008) and its sequel Sex and the City 2 (2010).
