Hyderabad, July 30 : The Telangana Police on Saturday arrested two more persons in connection with the Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET)-II paper leak case, taking the total number of people arrested to six.
Telangana Government earlier decided to scrap EAMCET-II after CID report confirmed paper leak. The CID has already arrested four persons for their involvement in leaking the question papers of EAMCET that was held on July 9.
Earlier this week, Telangana CID arrested 52-year-old Shaik Raheem alias Ramesh from the city outskirts.
As per reports, Shaik Raheem had contacted 14 students in Telangana and AP assuring them that he had the original question papers.
He reportedly took Rs 15 to Rs 20 lakhs from each student and gave them three sets of EAMCET-II-2016 (medical) question papers and answers.
