FIR filed against Sidhu for ‘outraging religious feelings’ of Sikhs

Amritsar (Punjab)[India], Jan. 27: The Punjab Police on Friday filed complaint against Congress leader Navjot Singh Sidhu for outraging religious feelings of the Sikhs.

A complaint has been lodged against Sidhu for allegedly distorting a Gurbani couplet. An Amritsar resident Khazan Singh has filed a police complaint against Sidhu and demanded that an FIR must be registered against the cricketer-turned politician under Section 295A of the IPC for allegedly hurting the sentiments of the Sikh community.
