Dantewada (Chhattisgarh), Aug. 18 : Four Maoists were killed in an encounter with security personnel in Chhattisgarh's Dantewada district.
Police raided the Maoist camp and recovered arms and ammunitions. "We achieved great success, as we gunned down four Maoists and recovered eight weapons and a huge cache of arms and ammunition from them.
Security forces were able to kill four Maoists. This is a big achievement," said Chhattisgarh Chief Minster Raman Singh. He also lauded the security forces for their achievement. Earlier this month, Forty-one people of Communist Party of India (Maoist), surrendered to the police in the insurgency-hit Narayanpur district of Chhattisgarh.
