London [UK], Feb. 13 : Music's biggest night 'The Grammys' is going to start in a few hours and we are going to see some of the biggest stars taking the centre stage.
But as usual, controversy has struck the event prior to its kickoff as pop star Frank Ocean had stated that he is in no mood to attend the ceremony.
The 29 year-old, took to Tumblr and criticized Taylor Swift's '1989' album of the year win in the last edition over Kendrick Lamar's 'To Pimp a Butterfly,' reports The Independent.
The 'Thinking about you' star wrote, "I've actually been tuning into CBS around this time of year for a while to see who gets the top honor and you know what's really not 'great TV' guys? 1989 getting album of the year over 'To Pimp A Butterfly'.
Hands down one of the most 'faulty' TV moments I've seen. Believe the people." He added, "Ok Ken (and David). As much as I hate to make you guys famous or even respond to you directly. We all die one day and you're old so f*** it. Yea yea my 2013 performance at the Grammys was absolute s***. Technical difficulties, blah blah. Thanks for the reminder. Very much appreciated. F*** that performance though." The whole feud started when two members of Grammys team, producer Ken Ehrlich and writer David Wild called the singer's performance in 2013 Grammys 'faulty' and 'not a TV moment'.
Ocean, did not submit his two qualifying albums 'Blonde' and 'Endless' for consideration this year. Meanwhile, the Grammys will go ahead tonight, with the likes of Daft Punk and Adele performing at the ceremony.
