Raipur [India], Aug. 28 : Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Raman Singh, who returned to Raipur on Sunday after attending the Bharatiya Janata Party Chief Ministers'Conference in New Delhi, said he has received suggestions to improve the state's sports policy.
"Best practices carried out in states were exchanged at the meeting, where work plans carried out for the poor in Chhattisgarh was also presented.
We get to learn from works carried out by various other states. We are making plans for Bastar also. We have received few suggestions to improve the sports policy, which will soon be implemented," said Singh.
He further said policy like 'Beti Bachao Beti Padhao' was also discussed at the meeting, adding that the meeting of Chief Ministers with the Prime Minister and BJP president Amit Shah was a nice initiative.
