Hockey World League: India bow out losing to Malaysia 2-3 in quarter-finals

London [U.K.], June 22 : The Indian Hockey Team has crashed out of the Hockey World League semi-final after suffering a 2-3 defeat at the hands of Malaysia in a quarter-final match on Thursday.

With this win, Malaysia have qualified for next year's World Cup to be held in India. India's goals came from Ramandeep Singh (24th, 26th minutes). India conceded seven penalty corners, three of which were converted by Malaysia - Razie Rahim (19th, 48th minutes) and Tengku Tajuddin.

Malaysia will now face current Olympic champions and world number one Argentina in Saturday's semi-final.
