Johannesburg, Aug. 2 :Overnight and early-morning showers delayed the start of the fourth days' play of the second Test between the West Indies and India at Sabina Park in Jamaica on Tuesday.
The Caribbean side were due to start their second innings after the Virat Kohli-led side declared their first innings at 500-9 on the third day before the rains ended the play,Sport24 reported.
Earlier, Ajinkya Rahane hammered the hosts' bowling attack into submission with a century as India extended their first-innings lead to 304 runs before declaration.
Rahane was well supported by Wriddhiman Saha who finished at 47. India are currently leading the four-match Test series 1-0 following their massive win by an innings and 92 runs in the opening Test at Antigua.
