Washington D.C. [USA], Oct. 29 : Julia Roberts recently celebrated her big day. While people ask for fancy birthday gifts, the 'Pretty Woman' star asked everyone to contribute 49 dollars, in honour of her 49th birthday, to GLSEN, an education organization.
The Oscar-winning actress is a long-time supporter of this group that is focused on ensuring safe and affirming schools for all students, especially LGBTQ youth, reports People Magazine.
Roberts initially made the request during her Visionary Award presentation to People and Entertainment Weekly Editorial Director Jess Cagle at the GLSEN Respect Awards.
In addition, GLSEN launched a Lunch with Julia Roberts lot - lunch in Los Angeles with Roberts for the winner and a guest -as part of the ongoing auction to support GLSEN's programs.
The 'Money Monster' star has given us yet another reason to love her more!.
