Washington D.C. [USA]Jan. 25 : After getting nominated for a whopping 14 Academy Awards, people attached with 'La La Land' have now taken a one-sided ride to the same magical land, where the film took the audiences to.

Emma Stone reacted with a heartfelt message after her being nominated for 'Best Actor (Female)'Academy Award.

"What a morning. I am so grateful for this honor and I'm so happy to share this feeling with my 'La La Land' family. The greatest part of life is connecting with people, and I love the deeply talented, kind and passionate people I was lucky enough to work with on this movie," the actress told The Hollywood Reporter.

The director of the neo-musical, Damien Chazzelle said that he felt really incredible when got to know about the film getting 14 nominations and he being nominated in 'Best Director' category.

Damien, who also directed last year's 'Whiplash', told The Hollywood Reporter, "Just after it was announced, my girlfriend got a text message and told me how many nominations we'd gotten, and I really thought she was just kind of saying what she hoped would happen or was, like, bullshitting me.

It took me so long to believe it - I had to ask her literally three times before I actually believed her.

He had Emma [Stone] on Facetime on his phone, so we just kind of screamed in each other's faces for a few minutes." This clearly shows how excited and passionate Emma and Damian are for their movie.

Producer Marc Platt, who produced the Los-Angeles based musical, was also really happy about the movie getting so much recognition.

He said, "Every ingredient in a musical film is so vital. The sound, the visual components, the character so to have it all recognised is wonderful.".
