Washington D.C. [U.S.A.], October 1 : Iconic game-show host Monty Hall is no more. Hall, who hosted the game show 'Let's Make a Deal' for nearly forty years over more than 4,700 episodes, died at the age of 96 on Saturday due to heart failure, reports The Hollywood Reporter.
The late TV presenter also created and produced the show, along with Stefan Hatos. Ever since its premiere in 1963, 'Let's Make a Deal' has been a staple of television. 'Let's Make a Deal' is also known for audience members, who dress up in outrageous or crazy costumes in order to increase their chances of being selected as a trader.
The legendary television host is survived by three children. His wife of nearly 70 years, Marilyn Hall, died in June. The show was remade in India - popularly known as 'Khullja Sim Sim', which was hosted by Aman Verma and subsequently, Hussain Kuwajerwala.
