The 34-year-old actor expressed that the astounding attendance in the stadium, even on a working day, made him feel that the club is "building a fan club" with a support system that will "grow with the club, a club that the people will call their own." On his club reaching the semi finals for the first time in the Indian Super League history, Ranbir said, "Our team has worked really hard this year so I don't wish, I know that we're gonna take the cup this year."
