Madrid, Aug.17 : Downplaying speculations surrounding Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas' potential move to Real Madrid, manager Zinedine Zidane said that the move to bring the Spain international into the squad will be a 'complicated' one.
The former Barcelona footballer's future has become the subject of widespread conjecture after he was axed from the Chelsea squad that clinched a 2-1 victory over West Ham United at Stamford Bridge on Monday.
However, the 44-year-old manager diminished Fabregas' chances of representing Real Madrid, saying that it would be difficult to add another midfielder given the sufficient amount of players already in that position.
"If you want to add in another midfielder, then it's complicated. I'm going to have a team with three or four players who aren't going to be picked, so adding another midfielder is very difficult," Zidane was quoted as saying by Marca.
The Frenchman further said that he didn't find the need to bring in any player in the squad despite defensive errors made by them in his side's 5-3 friendly win over Real Sociedad in Trofeo Bernabeu ahead of their La Liga opener on August 21.
"I don't think any players will be coming and I'm happy with the team I have. It's not always necessary to spend money.
With these players we have won the Champions League," Zidane insisted..
