New Delhi [India], July 8 : Padma Shri awardee and beauty diva Shahnaz Husain happened to meet Bollywood superstar Salman Khan at the Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport, Mumbai recently.
During their meeting, the beauty diva and the 51-year-old actor conversed on a range of topics - from films to the charitable activities that his charity 'Being Human' Foundation has undertaken in all these years.
Sharing the details about her meeting with the superstar, Shahnaz said that Salman's commitment towards philanthropic activities is what amazes her more than his "marvellous" acting skills.
"To be engaged so passionately in various philanthropic activities when you are at the top, is really commendable.
Salman's charity has been providing education and healthcare services for the underprivileged segments in the country, and has trained many differently-abled people.
Many of those trained by Salman's foundation have gained employment. I wish him success in all his philanthropic activities," she said. On the philanthropic front, Shahnaz Husain Group of Companies set up a Beauty Training Institute sometime ago for Delhi Blind School students to help them become financially independent by getting trained in beauty training skills.
A beauty book has been put into Braille by the CEO of Shahnaz Herbals Inc. "The need of the hour is to help provide career opportunities to physically challenged students. Philanthropy has been a way of life for me, and made my life more worthy," said Shahnaz..
