New Delhi [India], Apr. 5 : She has just finished acting out one of the most notorious feuds in Hollywood history and now, Susan Sarandon is putting another feud to rest.
While fans watched the latest episode of her new show 'Feud,' the 70-year-old star live-tweeted to quash 20-year-old rumours that she and Julia Robert battled on the 1998 movie 'Stepmom' set.
'The Exonerated' star wrote, "Press printed that Julia (and) I hated each other during Stepmom. Found out it was my PR person creating rumors." Sarandon included a 1998 Entertainment Weekly article about the alleged feud, in which the actress declared, "If you make a movie with a male star everyone assumes you're f--.
If it's a female star, everyone assumes you're fighting." Producer of the movie, Michael Barnathan, replied to her tweet saying, "My impression was that Julia had a ton of respect for you, on set it was collaborative and supportive.
Great set. Beautiful film #stepmom." Jessica Lange is Sarandon's co-star in the Ryan Murphy-created docu-drama, 'Feud,' which is about the famous 1960s rivalry between Joan Crawford and Bette Davis.
As for her relationship with Lange, Sarandon wrote, "The #1 question I get in interviews is whether Jessica (and) I get along.
Jess (and) I not only got along great during filming, we're now dating..I mean, staying in touch. She's one of the reasons I agreed to do the series. Working with brilliant actors only makes you better. #FeudFX" Sarandon stars as Davis, while Lange portrays Crawford in the FX series..
