Hyderabad, Feb 26 : Tanla Solutions, a leading cloud communication provider, on Tuesday launched Trubloq, a first of its kind blockchain enabled commercial communication stack for the telecom sector.
The solution launched by the Hyderabad-based company will help telecom service providers to eliminate fraudulent activities and safeguard the interest of all stakeholders against spam, frauds and sensitive issues like data privacy.
It has been developed to comply with the new regulation by the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) and it empowers individual mobile users to set and manage their communication preferences and consents, the firm said in a statement here.
R.S.
Sharma, Chairman, TRAI, launched Trubloq at Mobile World Congress 2019 in Barcelona on Tuesday.
According to the company India's largest mobile network Vodafone Idea limited will be the first telecom operator to go live on Trubloq.
TRAI seeks to converge technology and policy, using emerging technologies - distributed ledger, artificial intelligence and machine learning.
This comprehensive regulation is built on two key facets of empowering and safeguarding mobile consumers.
"Trubloq is a ground-breaking innovation for the telecom industry, powered by Tanla's blockchain-based communication stack.
