New Delhi [India], Apr. 2 : After going through scorching heat and humidity, Delhiites will finally be able to get some respite as the Meteorological Department on Sunday predicted that a spell of thunderstorm/dust storm was likely to occur at few places of Delhi NCR on April 5.
"A spell of thunderstorm/dust storm is likely to occur at few places of Delhi NCR on afternoon/evening of April 5," the IMD said.
Meanwhile, day temperatures continue to rise across most parts of India, especially in Rajasthan, Gujarat and Maharashtra.
Mercury has been settling at temperatures greater that 40C almost at every place. Presently, Bhira in Maharashtra tops the list of hottest cities in India with a maximum temperature of 46.5C.
