Washington D.C. [United States], Feb 11 : Senior Advisor to President Donald Trump, Stephen Miller on Sunday said that the administration is considering various options to reinforce the travel ban on all refugees and travelers from the seven majority-Muslim nations.
He said various legal options are being looked up by the Trump administration, after a three-judge federal appeals panel had unanimously refused to reinstate the travel ban from countries like Iran, Iraq, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria and Yemen.
Miller said, that Trump might sign a new executive order that would withstand legal scrutiny. "I want to say something very clearly, and this is going to be very disappointing to the people protesting the president and the people in Congress, like [Senate Democratic Leader Charles E.] Schumer, who have attacked the president for his lawful and necessary action: The president's powers here are beyond question," the Washington Post quoted Miller as saying on Fox News.
Later in the day, clearly impressed with Miller's remarks, President Trump appreciated the former for supporting him in various morning shows.
"Congratulations Stephen Miller- on representing me this morning on the various Sunday morning shows. Great job!" Trump said in a tweet..
