Islamabad [Pakistan], Nov. 10 : Pakistan has said that U.S. president elect Donald Trump has offered mediation between Pakistan and India on the Kashmir dispute. Foreign Office Spokesman Nafees Zakaria said that Islamabad has welcomed the offer, reports the Radio Pakistan.
Zakaria added that Pakistan looks forward to working closely with the new administration in the United States after Trump becomes president.
He said that it will be Pakistan's endeavor to promote and strengthen the existing relationship in areas of common interest.
He said Pakistan has a multi-dimensional and strategic relationship with the United States, including economic, defence, science and technology, education and counter-terrorism and wants to strengthen them further.
