New Delhi [India], Sep. 2 : Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi, while promoting his upcoming horror film 'Raaz Reboot,' said that he feels director Vikram Bhatt has monopolized the horror genre.
Reasoning his statement, the 37-year-actor said, "He has kind of monopolized the space as not many directors in our country tend to take up movies of this genre.
Because I am personally very fond of horror flicks so working with him has been an enriching experience for me.
During the shooting of 'Raaz 3' I got a chance to learn the knack of shooting scary scenes and filming 3D shots." The 'Gangster' actor also revealed that initially after completing the third outing of 'Raaz' franchise, he told the director that he has no plans of taking up the fourth one.
"I refused my part in the next part long back. I told vikram that I believe we won't be able to do anything better than 'Raaz 3', while we were having its success party.
But when he narrated this story to me a year back I was immediately impressed and realised it would be an awesome experience for horror lovers and something that they have never witnessed before," said Emraan.
Conforming the long run speculations that the movie is going to be a love triangle, he said, "Along with phenomenal visual elements, it is a package of intense a love story and good music.
We have shot it in Romania in -18 degree so lot of hard work has gone in and I am sure people would love it." Along with Emraan the movie also features newcomers Kirti Kharbanda and Gaurav Arora.
The horror flick is scheduled to hit theaters on September 16. Emraan has been a part of 'Raaz' franchise ever since the first outing. While he worked for the direction team in the movie featuring Bipasha Basu and Dino Morea, the 'Murder' actor posed as a lead in the next two sequels alongside Kangan Ranuat, Adhyan Suman and Bipasha Basu and Isha Gupta respectively.
