WashingtonD.C, Aug 10 : Hollywood superstar Will Smith recently slammed US presidential candidate Donald Trump for his Islamophobic rants.
According to a report in The Dawn, Smith, who was on a promotional session of his latest 'Suicide Squad' said, "In terms of Islamophobia in America, for me, that's why it's important to show up in Dubai." According to the 'I Robot' actor, it's important for him to be there, having fun, taking pictures so as to point out "Hey, it doesn't look like they hate me, does it?" The actor also expressed his wish that local filmmakers should use cinema to highlight the reality of the region and show their part of the story.
"The Middle East can't allow Fox News to be the arbiter of the imagery, you know. So cinema is a huge way to be able to deliver the truth of the soul of a place to a global audience," said Smith.
