By Pallavi Aman Singh New Delhi, Aug 6 : 'Wake Me Up When September Starts' as India Runway Week (IRW) is going to hit New Delhi for the seventh time.
Organised by Indian Federation for Fashion Development (IFFD), the winter-festive edition of the fashion gala, which aims at establishing young talents within the fashion world and facilitating India's retail industry, is all set to take place from 16 to 18 September, 2016.
Talking about this three-day extravaganza, IFFD founder Avinash Pathania said, "We are delighted to announce the dates for the upcoming seasons of IRW and we endeavour to work around local fashion calendar and we try to avoid clashes with other significant fashion events." Kiran Kheva, Fashion Director of IFFD, added "We are planning a number of innovations to continue reaching new heights this season." The event will see dedicated presentations by new-gen, budding, upcoming and established young designers.
There will be some of the season's most anticipated young designer brands and established street labels and will also serve as a launching platform for some of the Winter/Festive'2016 season's designer festive collections.
